Mineral Peach is one of my latest Dior additions. It’s a new release for spring and the colour is a light peach.
My first thought that this colour would look weird on my nails was partly confirmed. 🙄 Shown below is two coats. Nevertheless I like the fresh colour and in bright sunlight (the last photo gives an idea) it doesn’t look that bad. However I’m not sure about giving it another try, at least not very soon.
As soon as I chose working from home (yes, it’s because of Coronavirus – our institute won’t be operating as usual at least until the end of April), we left Hamburg, in order to spend the rest of this month in Lower Saxony. I feel safer here, it’s a small town, we have the garden and much more space than in Hamburg. Once here, Hamburg feels so far away. This morning, there were hardly people at the normally much-frequented main station (Hauptbahnhof), but many wore protective masks or, which I’d never seen in Hamburg before. I was glad that trains were operating as usual – and the more when we finally arrived at Nienburg.
Nail varnish – and photo blogs – aren’t that important these days and the only colour I took with me (although I have some older Ciaté bottles here) is Chanel Pure Black. Anyway, there are still a few posts in the drafts – starting with Perfect Peach, which was released in January. The name reveals that it’s peach, with golden glassflecks.

Camel was, as far as I’ve heard, Asia-exclusive. However, I purchased it online from the Dior webshop. It’s a light peach with golden glassflecks.

This is for sure going to be a super quick post because I’m nearly on my way to Fantasy Filmfest Nights. Its about Sparkle, the second nail varnish from Diorsnow 2019. Again we have the frost finish but this time with a peach – and slightly pink – base.
It’s ok on my nails but not my kind of shade. Shown below is two coats.

I’m still at my mother’s house, not wearing any new colours for the time being. But there are some Chanel varnishes waiting at home. 🙂 As for this posting, I tried My Sweet Escape some weeks ago and it’s actually a thermo nail polish, changing its colour from beige to rose/peach. Hence it’s more a neutral shade.
I tried my best to capture both colours but the cold version (= beige) wouldn’t really show up. Two coats applied, artificial light.

Moving on to the next Chanel; this is Sea Whip. Described as “milky pink”, it’s rather peach, probably with a hint of pink.

So I spent last weekend at Fantasy Filmfest Nights, the smaller film festival which starts my usual festival year. Ten films in two days, and this year, they were especially good (last year, they presented too much mainstream stuff and thus a sold-out theatre), lots of sick themes, creepy stuff but also fun.
Yesterday was some kind of recreation day, catching up with tons of laundry, organising the week and so on (at the swimming pool, I was just like in the water, not actually swimming 
), so that I can show the next nail polish today. 🙂
Hence on to Tease, which is peach with a proportion of pink. Not really something for a horror film festival (I should have mentioned that I’ll be at the cinema again tomorrow, to watch a special screening of Battle Royale, totally addicted, haha) but classy and timeless. It’s been a while since I took the photos.

Tulle (#568) is one of my latest Chanel additions. It’s a peach shade.
Surprisingly looking good on my nails, with special regard to my skintone. This is two coats and natural sunlight.

It’s nice, I guess. Peach with a hint of coral, and I like the name too.

One of those shades that look nicer in the bottle than on my nails. Beige Beige is indeed beige (with a hint of peach).
Combined with my skin tone … you barely notice that I’m wearing nail polish at all. That’s why I only swatched it because I had opted for some colour on my nails. But nevertheless I think that Beige Beige is somewhat of an elegant shade. Application was two coats.
