Going through my Essence drafts. … & my flaky caty is one of their recent releases, beige nude with black glitter and a finish that is frost and satin at the same time! What is more, look at its cute bottle design.
Two coats shown below, no top coat.
Macro photo showing the different glitter shapes and sizes.
I’m back from Fantasy Filmfest (although I was in Hamburg all the time, of course, but spending time at the movies for almost 12 hours a day is somewhat different …) and, being super crazy about this horror and independent stuff, saw all of the 54 films. 😉
Right now I am wearing Jungle Matte on my nails, which is a brand new Dior. So they ae doing mattes now and kind of re-invented this finish with a formula that is super easy to apply and dries quickly. No gritty surface – just pure matte. Jungle Matte is a nude beige (or light brown) colour.
Daylight, two coats (no top coat, of course).
I’ve been at my mother’s place for a week now and enjoying it so much. Didn’t tell you that Hamburg has early Easter holidays – so we are taking some time off in Lower Saxony, starting our days with swimming. I swam two kilometres each day except Sunday and it’s so great.
Once I’m back in Hamburg, there will be new Chanels to show. I noticed that I have not posted a nude shade – and an OPI nail varnish – for a while, so here is Barefoot in Barcelona. It’s beige with a proportion of rosewood. Lovely!
Two coats shown below and another premiere for this year: The weather is getting better (i. e. warmer) and thus I am taking photos outside again. 😎
One of those shades that look nicer in the bottle than on my nails. Beige Beige is indeed beige (with a hint of peach).
Combined with my skin tone … you barely notice that I’m wearing nail polish at all. That’s why I only swatched it because I had opted for some colour on my nails. But nevertheless I think that Beige Beige is somewhat of an elegant shade. Application was two coats.
One of my latest Chanel nail varnishes and the first spring nail varnish of 2017 I’m showing here. Blanc White is a sheer to semi-sheer ebony shade.
Three coats shown below for a rather opaque look.
Ivoire (which has been re-named to Muguet) is a semi-sheer nude shade, combining beige and rose.
Since this is really transparent, I used three coats – still without achieving opaqueness.
Loved having Organdi on my nails; it’s a nude pink, very opaque and elegant-looking.
Shown below is two coats. In search of some sunlight, I went upstairs to the attic and took the photos. Different setting though. 😉
