Regatta is a pretty light pink with a hint of lilac and, in addition, pink and magenta shimmer. It’s not really pastel (thus flawless application) but more a baby pink shade.
Shown below is two coats.

Bright egg yolk yellow. I’m a fan of yellows. 😎
Two coats applied. I guess there’s no need to mention but this is another of those perfect summer colours. Unfortunately, Bienvenido a Miami was released in 2012 (though Essence have yellows in their core collection) and is, moreover, a yellow that applied easily.
More from Dior. Jamaican Pepper is a perfect summer red, it’s a slightly jelly-ish cherry red containing silver and magenta microglitter.
As you might imagine, I was keeping this in my stash for quite a while – waiting for the perfect moment to wear Jamaican Pepper. This came with the heatwave, and the colour turned out to be one of my favourite reds for hot summer days (and nights 🙂 ). Two coats shown below.

It’s wonderful spending most of the summer at my mother’s house (although she is in the nursing home but everything is so close by in this small town). Love the strolls with my daughter; the river Weser is nearby and they have lemon & basil ice cream in the city centre. 😎
Waltz Of the Flowers (which I thought I had shown before). This is a pretty lilac holographic shade, also slightly iridescent.
Don’t get mistaken by the photos – we are in the middle of a heatwave now, which I had wished for when I actually took the pictures about a week ago. Two coats shown below.

We are finally in Lower Saxony at my mother’s place, and I am enjoying the garden view. Did you know that I was collecting high-end perfumes initially? (Guess I have not mentioned before.) That is, I have been collecting ballpens since school and am still after them. As for perfume, it all started with duty-free Chanel and then simply evolved. I had quite a collection which I also used (same as I’m applying my nail varnishes), but when I got pregnant I could not stand most scents any more, and that was when I either gave them away or also threw them away (what an idiot, I know) – and kept a few bottles. I should actually just have given them to my mother, which would have been a wiser choice.
I remembered my passion for perfume because I received a sample of Jil Sander Sun about two weeks ago, and this had been my favourite for the summer for a long time. Still loving it to bits. So much for this. 🙂
Summer holidays, finally! We will be off for a couple of days at my mother’s place … I am eager to see how the berries I planted are doing. In addition, the wheather is super sunny now.
Polovetsian Dances is a dark purple shade with silver holographic microglitter.
Very dense opaqueness but nevertheless two coats applied.

Kalinka – I realised that this was still in my drafts. The colour is silver-based with a hint of lilac and holographic glitter. Stunning!
Application was two coats and this first photo taken outside doesn’t do Kalinka justice.
Back in our flat. I like this colour; the lilac is definitely visible but still Kalinka matches most colours. I combined it with a floral dress, when we went to a little garden party last Saturday.

Azur, too, belongs to this year’s Riviera collection. It’s a bright cyan blue, almost neon, and with a hint of aqua. The bottle picture comes very close to its actual colour.
Shown below is two coats. Remember Sunday Funday? This has been my favourite cyan blue so far but Azur comes close to topping it. (Nevertheless I should mention: stains upon removal, which is quite common for this colour family, I think).
Bay has been released only recently and is, as I understand, kind of super limited, which is sad because it mint green colour (also spotting a hint of turquoise) makes it special, even in my Dior stash. Notice my reflection on the lid; I tried really hard capturing the actual shade of Bay.
As soon as I had Bay on my nails, the sun came out. Nothing beats outdoor photos, I guess. Two coats applied.
Love’s A Beach is actually a stunner – bright neon pink (with a notable proportion of fuchsia) with shimmer finish.
Unfortunately, the sun was hiding … Just imagine a brilliantly shining shade. Two coats applied, as well as top coat, otherwise the finish is satin-y.
Photos taken outside. I will for sure apply Love’s A Beach again sometime soon and really regret that I had been waiting for so long to try it.
