Too Busy Being Awesome. I like this colour, utterly amazing cyan, and I regret that I left it in Hamburg. Since homeschooling will last until at least mid-April, we decided to stay in my small hometown until further notice. It would be too risky going back, even for one day or just a few hours, to sort things out. Too many are infected.
Two coats applied (photos were taken like two weeks ago – artificial light).
March already – and Hamburg is still covered with snow. At least the sun is shining today and I will be going out, if only for shopping because I am still recovering from the flu but getting better every day.
Sunshine is normally ideal for holographic nail varnishes but it’s been a while since I had applied Anne Boleyn and taken the photos. This has a dark red base with a scattered holographic finish.
Two coats shown below. Beautiful …
Natural light. Unfortunaly, photos were still taken in the flat so that the daylight doesn’t bring out the holo much more.
Sir Loyal Heart. Another unique nail colour in my stash; its base shifts between bronze and brown, containing maroon and golden shimmer. And, of course (because it’s A England 🙂 ) it’s a scattered holo finish.
Shown below is two coats.
It snowed today although the sky cleared up soon, so that the snow melted quickly. But I had this pretty winter nail varnish on my nails; Hot Cocoa & Fuzzy Socks is a deep plum shade.
Two coats applied.
This is gorgeous! Olive green base, golden shimmer and scattered holographic finish.
I even had the opportunity to take photos with natural light.
Such a pretty colour …
This is how it looks under artificial light.
Merry Christmas everyone! 🙂 Hope you are all enjoying a wonderful Christmastime and wishing you happy holidays from the bottom of my heart. I’m at my mother’s place and a bit tired although it was a nice trip because there weren’t many people travelling. I guess most people preferred to stay at home today, spending time with their beloved ones.
At Lower Saxony, we have no snow and I admit I like the mild wheather. Tomorrow we are going to watch a DVD, King Arthur – Legend of the Sword. 😉 The swimming bath is closed, so I’ll go there again on Boxing Day.
As for The Most Happy, I had this on my nails a couple of days ago. It’s bright purple with holographic glitter and a scattered holo finish.
Shown below is to coats.
On to the next Tudoresque nail varnish. I thought Katherine of Aragon (Henry’s first wife)would make a beautiful colour for the last days before Christmas. It’s an antique gold shade with a hint of taupe and containing holographic glitter, resulting in a scattered holo finish.
Two coats applied. Again, one coat would have been fine too, with regards to opaqueness.
