I haven’t posted (or bought) a GOSH varnish for ages, and I was pretty suprised to discover that one of our local Budni drugstores carries this brand. Since I had heard of Galaxy and its complexity, I could not resist. Galaxy is a bronze shade with a hint of mud, and it is packed with multicoloured shimmer particles.
Two coats. As always with GOSH – flawless application, and Galaxy dried really quickly, so I loved everything about this one.
Bright red with a hint of orange. Cream finish.
Two coats with Dior top coat(though it’s very glossy on its own).
One of the perfect reds. Cream finish. At first sight, this might not seem to be something extraordinary. But once applied, it is gorgeous.
Two coats – and no top coat; this is amazingly glossy.
Weather’s been nice (but cold) today. My nails are a bit (just a tiny bit) longer these days because I have a make-up session tomorrow. Yannick Lemaire from Chanel will be here and my boyfriend seized the opportunity and surprised me with a voucher. 🙂 This is my actual Easter present and I am so looking forward to it! And I’m pretty exited too; I broke one nail today and my current mani got a bit bumpy… Chanel Gondola, which Yannick will hopefully recognise!
To cut a long story short, I also did some swatches today and here we go:
GOSH – Gasoline
ManGlaze – Fuggen Ugly, Mayonnaise and Fuck Off & Dye
Dior – Aztec Chocolate (Violet Nouveau Monde)
Purple with small blue and purple glitter particles.
Two coats. I guess it would take three coats to get this stuff opaque. In direct sunlight:
Natural light again, but from a different angle.
Is it purple? Is it green? Both! It’s duochrome. 🙂
It’s hard capture the duochrome effect! 😦 This was done without a top coat since I was on a journey.
A light pink-peach with foil finish. (Pink bits from Superdrug theft protection.)
Applies nicely and dries quickly.
(With pink remains of Superdrug’s theft protection.)
Gold (surprise! 😉 ) foil finish, easy to apply.
Three coats, no top coat.
