[Chanel] Trapèze (367)

Chanel again, with an older release: Trapèze, combining grey/silver with hints of beige and taupe. Frost finish.

Trapèze

The formula of Trapèze is a bit sheer, so three coats were needed to achieve opaqueness.

[Chanel] Curieux (76)

This is golden with a frost finish. Since I am not really a fan of golden shades – they should be really special -, Curieux has been in my drafts for ages …

Shown below is three thin coats.

[Chanel] Pêche Nacrée

For the holidays, I picked some vintage Diors I might swatch – so please stay tuned. 🙂 However, for the time being, here’s another Chanel. Pêche Nacrée is almost three years old. It’s a frosty light peach shade.

peche

Already swatched this (you won’t believe it) in May 2012! 😯 Shown below might be two coats.

[OPI] Cosmo-Not Tonight, Honey

Here is another nude shade, Cosmo-not Tonight, Honey, which had been part of the Russian Collection of 2007. I’m not really a fan of frost finishes, and this one creates a rather pale look regarding my skin tone. But it’s nice anyway if I’m in the mood for nude colours.

Swatches were done ages ago, probably autumn last year… Three thin coats.

[OPI] A Butterfly Moment

I’ve been painting my nails with bright shades over the past few days (such as Beach Cruise-R by China Glaze, an almost neon fuchsia), so today I was in the mood for something neutral. A Butterfly Moment is part of the Mariah Carey Collection, and this nude shade with a hint of pink is a perfect match regarding my skintone. Normally, I’m not into these frost finish things – they look stupid on me 🙄 -, but this is lovely, also for its name.

Shown below is three thin coats, and as for bright shades, I’m combining this with MAC Party Parrot on my lips! Which is a shocking bright pink, containing a tad of coral.

[p2] Frosted Mint

With temperatures still below zero (but rather frost than snow), it seems that winter doesn’t want to end… Frosted Mint is a great winter/snow shade, it is a very pale mint green with a frosty finish, definitely living up to its name. Moreover, I like the bottle shape as much as the colour. Is it a diamond ❓

frosted mint

Three coats… and winter nails. 😉 The limited edition’s name is Snow Kissed, and it is currently available at various drugstores, such as dm and Budni (these are my favourite ones, since Budni is round the corner, which is very handy regarding the wheather).

[Dior] Lady

Lady belongs to this year’s Holiday collection by Dior, Le Grand Bal, and thus it’s a sister polish of Diorling. I seem to like white-ish colours… Lady is a mother of pearl shade with a frost finish.

lady

Three coats. I felt reminded of Chanel Attraction but could not compare them yet, anyway, Attraction is a bit lighter, and as for Lady, brush strokes are less visible, in my view.
