[Yves Saint Laurent] Noir Lapis / Black Lapis

This is an older YSL, Noir Lapis aka Black Lapis. I’ve already posted its sister shades, Noir Indigo (Black Indigo) and Noir Mordoré (Black Bronze). Noir Lapis is the dark blue version of them – a black base with blue (and a small proportion of green) shimmer.

[Yves Saint Laurent] Moonlight Blue

Over the past months, I have intensified my love for YSL nail varnishes, although regarding my stash, they still represent a small proportion. But whenever I come across a shade that catches my interest, sooner or later, I’ll add it to my YSL section.

I’ve had Moonlight Blue for quite a time before wearing it. Similar to its sister polish Wintergreen (one of my favourite YSL shades, this too, was given to me by my husband, but a few weeks later, although still in 2012. 😉 This is a night blue with a visible shimmer.

[Estée Lauder] Metallic Sage

Metallic Sage is pretty unique, at least in my stash. It’s a khaki/olive (or just, sage) green, and despite its shimmer, it seems to fit every occasion.

This is the first Estee Lauder varnish I tried, so I had no idea regarding application – which was flawless; I also was impressed how fast it dried!

[Chanel] Quartz

Quartz is one of those shades that fits every occasion. I like it very much, since it is subtle and unique at the same time. The colour itself is hard to describe, probably a brown/taupe with a silver undertone. Nevertheless, it is beautiful.

[Yves Saint Laurent] Wintergreen

Stunning, isn’t it? YSL Wintergreen was given to me by my husband for my birthday. Actually, it was released last year, as part of the Midnight Garden Collectin (autumn). I liked it the moment I saw it, but I wasn’t that much craving for it, and so I could wait, although the colour is amazing. Teal with a visible shimmer.

Another bunch, taken at a later point of time and with a “real” mani, not only a swatch. 🙂 Because I adore this shade!

[Chanel] Pirate

One of the lower numbers (08), a stunning red with a rather jelly finish, re-released last fall.

Two coats. I took lots of photos, so here comes a little spam… Artificial light.

Natural light; currently, it’s freezing outside and rather cold! However, no ice or dark clouds.
