[OPI] Ginger Bells!
Yes, Ginger Bells! with an exclamation mark. Since the weather’s gotten really frosty over the past couple of days, I thought this kind of matches the currently cold days.

Two coats and, again, an older swatch.

[Dior] Or Tsarine / Czarina Gold
This came out in 2010, as part of Dior’s Holiday Collection. Or Tsarine / Czarina Gold is a beautiful dark brown/bronze with shimmery golden particles.

I did these swatches before Christmas last year.

Here is how Czarina Gold compares to Essence Gold Old Buffy (Vampire’s Love Collection). The Dior one is on the right.

On pop up sticks, again, Czarina Gold is on the right.

[SpaRitual] Fall in Love
This one contains a hidden message! Fall in Love is such a beautiful name for this shimmery mixture of red and brown.

Two coats. It’s actually a complex shade, so hard to describe…

[Dior] Violet Nouveau Monde (New World Purple, Aztec Chocolate)
The (detachable) lid reflects the camera… good start for this one! The colour is between chocolate brown and plum/purple with a shimmer finish.

The new Dior polishes (redesigned bottles and brushes) have a flat brush which fans out nicely but, at first, is a bit tricky to handle. I needed to get used to this. Sorry for the bumpy swatch. Two coats. I tried to do more photos to show the hint of purple in this, but in vain.

[Chanel] Paradoxal
This has a variety of faces, Paradoxal is stunning probably lives up to its name, for its colour is hard to describe. It it overall a mix of purple and taupe, but at the same time shimmery.

Two coats.

[Chanel] Particulière
Particulière has become a classic, I guess. Its colour is tricky to describe, in my view, it’s brownish taupe with ha slight hint of grey. Or just ‘mud’.

This applies nicely and has a crème finish, two coats.

[OPI] Ginger Bells!
Creamy brownish orange… like gingerbread or a pumpkin.

Opaque after just one coat!

[China Glaze] Awakening Collection (Halloween 2010)

l/r:
Zombie Zest
Ick-A-Bod-Y
Mummy May I
Zombie Zest. Greenish-golden, quite sheer jelly base. Amazing and exceptional; this is my favourite of the collection.

I replaced the old swatches by better ones, taken shortly before Halloween in October 2011. Two coats.

Ick-A-Bod-Y. What’s the meaning of this? Anyway, it’s glitter chunks in an orange/copper and black jelly base. Love that colour.

Mummy May I. Purple glitter in a black jelly base. Beautiful.

Here’s Mummy May I.
